Age-appropriate robots will help students learn coding in a fun and interactive way during their time in Mrs. Rosemore’s STEM classes. STEM learning is active and focuses on student-centered learning environments. Questioning, problem solving, collaboration, and hands-on learning are all topics of engagement for students. STEM teaches students to use life skills to complete the tasks at hand.
She hosts every student in her classroom throughout the week – giving each student an opportunity to learn more about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math through fun and engaging activities. The new robots will help younger students will get a jump start on beginning coding practices with the STEM Robot Mouse, while older students will learn programming and coding with Dash.

The Dash robots are geared towards the upper grades in the elementary, as it is slightly more advanced in coding and programming. Students will use a variety of apps to create new behaviors for Dash – doing more with robotics than ever possible! Learn more or get your own here.

The STEM Robot Mouse Coding Activity Set uses coding cards to create a step-by-step path for the programmable robot mouse. After building a maze, younger elementary students will program the mouse to go through a sequence of steps to find the wedge of cheese. It is the perfect hands-on introduction to coding concepts.
