Our next grant for the school year is for a field trip for 4th grade students!
On Wednesday, May 15th, the entire fourth grade class will be traveling to Bonanzaville in West Fargo to learn about the early to mid-1900s. The students will explore old buildings and look at old machinery that was used in the earlier years.
According to the Bonanzaville website,
“Bonanzaville, USA is owned and operated by the Cass County Historical Society, on 12 acres of land located in West Fargo, North Dakota. Our Museum and Village can provide you and your family hours of enjoyment as you learn and explore the History of our Region. The Village has 41 buildings providing an insight into our earliest settlers, how they lived, what they possessed and the challenges they faced.”
After visiting the exhibit, we would be traveling to Lindenwood Park in Fargo for a sack lunch. We hope that the kids get the chance to learn more about the history of our country and better understand the way that people used to live.
