We’ve approved another grant for the school year!
HOTL Elementary school teacher, Jim Kennedy, has been noticing a decline in students’ interest and abilities to be involved in lifelong activities. One area that he would like to focus on in the coming years is the ability to ride a bike. Strider bikes are a great tool to use when teaching children of any abilities to ride a bike. These bikes incorporate skills, such as balance, strength, and agility, that will allow them to understand their movements when operating a bike.
These bikes will accommodate students of varying abilities, and teach them the valuable lifelong skill of riding bicycles. Bike riding is becoming a popular outdoor activities for people of all ages, so Mr. Kennedy hopes to inspire students at a younger age to enjoy it.
